I’m a graduate of Walnut Hills High School, Miami University of Ohio and UC College of Law. I was a Hamilton County Assistant Prosecuting Attorney from 1984-2001. My husband and I married in 1985 and have lived in Loveland since 1986, where we raised our two grown sons. We were avid high school baseball and basketball parents, and college baseball parents. In 1999 I was elected to Loveland City Council in a contested field race. In that same year I was appointed as Chief Assistant Prosecutor in charge of the Hamilton County Grand Jury. I simultaneously held those positions until I was elected to the bench in a contested election of November 2001 when was elected to my first six year term on the Hamilton County Municipal Court bench. The voters have continuously reelected me to this position over the three subsequent elections. My job involves hearing both civil and criminal cases.
